weather challenged but absolutely wonderfulicious

Yesterday was December 28, 2008, and while the majority of the United States was blanketed in snow, sleet, rain, and more snow, we were basking in 70+ degree weather. Very, very strange. We ended our Christmas weekend with friends & neighbors for an outdoor (4th of July) bar-b-que complete with yummy hamburgers (veggie for me!), hot dogs, baked beans, pasta salad, chips and dip/salsa, and plenty of long island ice teas - with lots of ice! We gathered in the driveway in the evening with all 7 of our kids running amuck across the yards and in the streets (ages ranging between 2 and 15), wearing shorts, t-shirts, tank-tops and flip flops.
It was the best ever!
Sounds great, where's the photos? We had sunshine and a warm day, yesterday, too. After being too cold for a while, that was nice.
It has been weird. Christmas Day my husband and I went out and took a long walk. It was beautiful.
