Growing up I was a PBS kid.
My mornings were filled with Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. My best friends were Big Bird and Cookie Monster. And my favorite of all was travelling to the Neighborhood of Make Believe.
You see, I wasn't allowed to watch regular T.V., especially not cartoons. Nope, never. I didn't find that strange until I went to elementary school and was enlightened. You can imagine. Back then I was some kind of freak. But now, my friends say I had the benefit of being raised by California granola hippies, which may or may not be true, but that works for me.
Here's a super cute video of Feist, one of my favorite artists, on Sesame Street.

2 Cared Enough to Say:
Hilarious. California Granola Hippies, Wow, I don't think I've ever been called that before. Do you tell them about the NO BARBIEs, too?
And I still don't watch much TV, too many books.
